GROUP: Digipak Concept Ideas

• As a group we have been discussing ideas towards the development of our digipak. We have decided to follow the existing visual style of The Family Rain's previous Eps and singles. This being a symmetrical image overlayed with their logo of the tear drop. Because they have this embedded style we feel it would be necessary to carry it on, as their single artwork has formed a collection, an addition to this collection would be aesthetically pleasing for audiences in a marketing sense making them uncomfortable with an incomplete selection and therefore incomplete band image.
• We are going to link our video to our print products by using images taken on location , this will create a establish a coherent visual style throughout the marketing campaign.
• The band has featured in the NME on many occasions providing interviews and advertising their debut album. We feel that our promotional package would be best suited to this magazine as it suits the genres presented in this print.
